Government Put Forth a Concord for giving Precedence to Endorse Education
President
of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain has put forward the concerns of Government in
promoting education and giving it primacy in terms of promotion and taking such
measurements via which the country could accomplish the targets set by UN under
the head of Millennium Development goals (MDGs) reported on Friday in
Islamabad.
A meeting of National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) was held at the Aiwan-e- Sadar accompanying the President where he shared his views and initiatives on the basis of reports, functions, attainments and various projects of the mandate.
The meeting was attended by
the higher dignitaries of educational sector inclusive of the Minister of State
for Education Trainings and Standards in Higher Education Muhammad Baligh-ur-
Rehman, Secretary Education, Trainings and Standards in Higher Education
Muhammad Ahsan Raja and Additional Secretary Education, Trainings and Standards
in Higher Education Dr. Allah Bakhsh Malik and Director General,
NCHD.
President put beam on the aims and
objectives of NCHD as a contributory factor in human growth and development
extension of the country so that the nation could pull off the aspirations of
augmenting the literacy rate , increasing primary edification ratios and women
empowerment at the universal level with full devotion and dedication.
Moreover, the president
also emphasized the governments at provincial level to come over at the same
podium in order to support NCHD highlighting their vital roles to ensure higher
level of educational reforms and women empowerment that will be possible by
giving a supportive hand in the successful completion of the projects designed
by NCHD. This shows the vital stature of NCHD in educational reforms of the
country.
A detailed presentation of
NCHD’s activities, their action plans, projects and story of undertakings in
the preceding year 2013 was also shared with the President in the meeting. Depending upon the word of mouth and
presentations President ensured the optimum support and benefaction to Ministry
of Education, Trainings and Standards in Higher Education and NCHD to achieve
the goals of high literacy rate and educational empowerment highlighting female
education also.
Although the country has
been going through an unpredictable situation still the mainstream plans have
been made clear by the government dignitary. Educational reforms are the most
significant part in the development of the state. President’s verdict in
showing supportive attribute to NCHD and training and standards in higher
education depicts the act that government very well realizes the imperative
position of education for the state development.
