Bise Faisalabad win inter Board Sports

The Pakistan Inter board sports 2014 has been clean swept by the Bise Faisalabad in the female categories as the board has collected 14 medals with being at the top position. The second position in the games has been bagged by the Board of intermediate and secondary education, Gujranwala where as the third position holder is BISE Sahial.

The event was concluded on Thursday where the winners were awarded with the medals and trophies. Dr Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera was the chief guest of the closing ceremony which was continue in the Jinnah stadium. He gave away the prizes to the winners in the ceremony.

In the female sports category, the Faisalabad region remained champions with the total of 205 points in all the games. The board bagged sex gold medals, four silver medals and four bronze medals in total. The Gujranwala board came second with the total points of 144 including six gold, three silver and three bronze medals in total. 

The best athlete of the event was Mehreen Khan who belonged to Gujranwala for her astonishing performance and winning five gold medals for her board. The titles of the Badminton were bagged by Faisalabad by defeating Islamabad and volleyball title was also came to BISE Faisalabad as they defeated Sahiwal board. 

Bise Lahore however remained the champions in the men’s event where it collected six gold, four silver and two bronze medals where as BISE Abbotabad came on the second position with four gold, three silver and six bronze medals. The third position came to the BISE Peshawar with four gold medals, two silver medals and three bronze medals.
